Well, here I am, joining the blog world at last. I'm sure there's plenty I'll be doing with the template, the headings, and the like. But for now, I'll post a little information and leave it at that. :) Feel free to give me any advice on the blog's design. As some of you know, I'm kinda design-challenged (ahem, Milner). ;)
Anyway, if you're reading this, chances are you know me. Or you've just wandered here by happenstance, which is just fine too. Hi! *waves* But I'll give an update for your reading pleasure -- I know it's been awhile since some of us have seen each other.
In June, Mike and I got engaged, which was wonderful and beautiful and lots of fun. We're planning a June 2004 wedding here in Tallahassee, and we're pretty excited. We're also taking suggestions for a honeymoon destination, so if you have one, email me. :) Our list of possibilities just keeps getting longer and longer, but we have lots of time to decide.
Other than that, most everything's been the status quo lately. I started the fall semester of grad school this week and am teaching a class as well as taking classes and working on my thesis, so there's always lots to do. Not to mention that Teen Democrat just started up again and, as always, I'm hanging out in the newsroom half the week writing headlines and such. But it's all a lot of fun. Definitely keeps me on my toes.
Lucky's asleep in the bedroom, but she says hi. She's happy to have the house to herself again after a one-week stint with a foster cat.
And that's about it for now. I think I'll upload this and see what it actually looks like on the ol' (I mean, new) blog. Thanks for dropping by! Visit early and often! I'll write again soon.
:)
